Job Description

Job Description

We’re looking for a Brand Designer to join our growing creative team.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career designer with a strong portfolio who’s eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple mediums and grow alongside a small, mission-driven startup. You'll be working closely with our Creative Director and collaborating across marketing, product, and support to bring stories and brand moments to life.

While you’ll receive direction and feedback, much of the day-to-day work will require independent execution, time management, and clear communication — especially in a remote-first setup. You’ll have the chance to work on projects that span from marketing campaigns and social assets to presentations, customer communications, and brand-building initiatives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Create polished visual assets for social media, landing pages, websites, and marketing campaigns

  • Design visuals for email marketing, presentations, and internal comms

  • Support creative production for onboarding, customer materials, and product updates

  • Translate concepts into final deliverables with clarity and attention to detail

  • Ensure visual brand consistency across all touchpoints

  • Contribute to the evolution of For Posterity’s brand identity through design systems and asset libraries

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and cross-functional teammates to bring ideas to life

Requirements

Requirements

Must have:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing polished work across print and digital formats

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent layout, typography, and visual execution skills

  • Able to work independently, manage time well, and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable receiving direction while also taking initiative

Advantage:

  • Motion graphics skills

  • Experience designing websites (Framer, Webflow, Elementor)

  • Knowledge of 3D software (e.g., Blender)

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Experience working with AI tools (midjourny, Weavy, Runway)

Traits We Value:

  • Self-driven and ambitious, with a hunger to grow and improve

  • Proactive and curious: you explore ideas, tools, and creative approaches

  • Fast learner: whether it’s software, systems, or new workflows

  • Clear communicator: you speak up, ask for help, and give thoughtful input

  • Collaborative and kind, with a sense of ownership and initiative
