Job description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary CTO to lead and scale our technological efforts. As the CTO, you will be responsible for defining and managing the technology strategy, leading the development team, and overseeing all technical aspects of the business. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and the executive team to align our technology roadmap with our business goals.
Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring that our technology stack is scalable, efficient, and robust enough to meet the demands of a rapidly growing startup. Additionally, you will ensure that we are at the forefront of advancements in the AI, LLMs (Large Language Models), and Prompt Engineering space.
Responsibilities

Define and execute the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Manage and mentor a growing R&D team, fostering collaboration and driving performance.

Lead and oversee projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Oversee the integration and optimization of our tech stack.

Drive the continuous improvement of development processes, enhancing efficiency and scalability.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and related technologies, guiding the company's technical direction in this space.

Ensure that the company’s technological resources meet short and long-term needs, including the ability to scale effectively as we grow.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless technology integration with product and operations.
Candidate requirements
Must have:

Proven experience in managing technology strategy within a high-growth environment.

Strong background in managing and mentoring development teams across junior and senior levels.

Extensive experience in leading complex technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to specification.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the following tech stack: NestJS, Prisma, NextJS, React, Linux (Ubuntu), DevOps, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Python, PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and the broader AI landscape.

Experience working within a startup environment, where adaptability and innovation are key to success.
